Disaster in the Laundry Room
I had a disaster in the laundry room that took the last three hours of my time to clean up. The kids were napping for most of that which was a blessing since I couldn't devote any time to them during this process. As I was putting away my Costco groceries, I dropped a gallon of Spray N Wash on the floor and it broke and spilled all over the lynolium in my laundry room -- so then I had to get 7 big towels to clean it up and then I stuck them in my washer just hoping that they wouldn't bubble too much and cause more mess to clean up. Well, my washer wouldn't work because it became far too bubbly so then I had to throw the towels and bubbles into the tub and rinse them and squeeze them and rinse them and squeeze them -- my hands and arm muscles are so sore now I can hardly type. I just finally threw them back into the washer, which is also cleaned out now since I ran the rinse and spin cycle 20 times. So hopefully, the towels are bubbled out enough that it won't cause the problem again. Oh what a pain.

Slideshow of September Pictures

| 2008 September |
Hopefully this slideshow works -- Blogging is a whole new ballgame for me so I'm not sure if I'm doing everything correctly. For instance, in my post below, I could not get the pictures to go inbetween my text -- they insisted on going on the top of my posting. Any reason why? I spent an hour trying to figure it out. I should have just asked someone. If you know how I can do that, please let me know!

These pictures give you a taste of some of the fun we had this month at the "beach" (Dash Point State Park on the Puget Sound) and at the Puyallup Fair with Justyne.
Update on our lives?
Jeff is currently involved with the men's ministry at church and is teaching a study through Stuart Scott's "The Exemplary Husband". At UPS, there's a possibility that he could be transferred to a closer location at the end of the year which would cut his commute down by about 1 1/2 hours each way. We're praying that he will get that God will give that position to him.

I am quite involved with the women's ministry at church and I'm leading worship for the women each Tuesday morning. I'm enjoying the study by Martha Peace, "The Excellent Wife". Jeff and I are often comparing notes.
Trudy has her first wiggly tooth!!! She's so excited and tells everyone she sees about her grand news and then asks whomever she's informing to please wiggle it for her. She's also learning how to write her letters and numbers and we're working on counting to 100. Trudy just had her third urinary tract infection so we'll be visiting a Urologist in the beginning of October to find out what may be causing these infections and other symptoms she seems to have. We're praying for wisdom for the doctor and that he will be gentle and kind.
Tobin just started learning how to use the potty last week. So far so good, although he's not ready to do it in public very well yet. He's into his prizes he gets when he performs correctly and usually chooses between the gummy worms and the gummy bears.
Clara is into her baby dolls and will often be seen carrying a baby in one arm and a bottle in the other -- she periodically stops what she's doing to put the baby down so she can stick the bottle into the mouth of the baby doll.
